Rural Revive is a new employment programme supporting rural communities in Ireland and Crete.
We help long-term unemployed adult, aged 45+ years to access good quality local jobs and we help local employers grow with confidence.
Through personalised support, training, and a guaranteed 12-month wage subsidy, we bring people and businesses together to create long-lasting opportunities.
Our vision is simple: vibrant rural communities where people can live, work and succeed.
Rural Revive is not just about employment; it is about opportunity, connection and belonging. By reimagining rural life through innovation and collaboration, we aim to make rural communities places where potential is nurtured, and the future feels within reach.
Why Rural Revive Works
- Working at community level, we support local people, rural businesses and rural communities.
- Every jobseeker and employer engaged through Rural Revive will have access to one-to-one support through our team of dedicated Employment Support Officers (ESO).
- We prioritise stability for individuals and employers through the Guaranteed Job Placement Scheme with a duration of 12 months.
- We are in a position to reduce employer risk through the provision of a wage subsidy with funding from the ESF+ grant.
